Springs
Stick with rubber springs - except replace what is fitted with the MSC C-STR687 up-rated springs. They give a superbly supple ride. The issue with what you have is that Rover treid to make the mini more civilised by making the springs softer. They made a bad mistake - whoever decided on this diod not understand how the suspension works. They become little mor ethan bump stops after a few hundred mile sof use. KC.

re
spax, are as cheap sports damper as they come, they dont last long and often have other problems. they may be gd when they work but thats only when there working. iv always preffered rubber as it has a progessive spring rate and self dampening propertyies but they need replacing about every 10 years for optium performence as they perrish. the silver kyb are pritty dam good and are cheap, they have gd rep too being biggest original equipment damper manufacturer in the world. if u do use coilover dont use spax dampers.
MSSK3004 this kit is good tryied this transformed handling. these dampers are alot stiffer than standard ones my look small but work exceptionally well.
C-STR687 uprated rubber cones (only tryied with standard replacement but these sound gd)
