HUB FRONT L/H ALL DISC BRAKE MINIS
In stock
Minispares own product-L/H, to last Rover drawings and supplied to us by a UK Heritage specialist. Originally the BMC castings were machined by Portland Engineering but in the 90's we put down tooling with IVRA/Italy who had them manufactured by Torme/Italy which are still available but not from Mini Spares. Call it a hub, bearing carrier, upright or swivel pin, on the Mini it's all the same thing. You'll need these (FAM2391=left, FAM2390=right) new hubs if you are converting from drums barkes to disc or if your old hubs will no longer support the bearings properly.THE original hub BTA186 with plain chamfered end is 72MM in external width where the bearing sits but FAM2390 with step on end is 75MM wide to stop bearings flexing with bigger wheels. (THIS WAS ROVERS THEORY) An extra bolt and dowel is often added to the steering arm holes as they can elongate on Miglia and other fast race cars
