PRIMARY GEAR PRE A PLUS 1275 FLOATING BUSH TYPE

24 teeth primary gear for all pre A plus 1275 engines with a floating bush fitting to suit stepped crankshaft. Uses a floating bush with a circlip to hold it in place. This primary gear is suitable to use along with Standard pre a+ drop gears. This is also a part of our new drop gear range for PRE A plus 1275cc. This can be used with our new C-22G943 idler and roller bearing kit for gearboxes with idler gear case wear, or for fast road use. You will require all 3 drop gears of this design to fit A Plus power assemblies which is available as C-22G945 running clearance for this gear-rear bush running clearance finished size 1.503" +0.002"-0-0"For race allow an extra thou 1.504" +0.001" only. for race 1 thou more clearance with plus 1 thou tolerance obut never undersize. front bush 1.628" +0.002" -0.0" never undersize as it requires clearance. if cranks are worn measure crank and allow 3-5 thou running clearance and race use 5-7 thou on front bush and 4-5 thou on rear bush End float clearances ie .0035 to .0065 - see shim washers DAM6486 to DAM6490.
