21A1872/1874 Were downgraded to road use in BMC manuals so I fitted the rear two blue band 21A1874 to the front of my Cooper S Mk3 and they have stiffened the front up perfectly.


Read my old article “Dunlop suspensions” where I tried many times to get Mr Moulton to help us with drawings or how to get them made. He said it was impossible to resurrect the part again even though I had a wealthy customer willing to pay for new tooling, but on enquiring with Dunlop all the old tooling had been scrapped and found that they had been loosing money on rejections when testing new units, so I reluctantly gave up any serious further investigations.
