As fitted to MKI minis and variants. Original style tube of rubber material wrapped over a wire coil. As an improvement to the original design, these are also bonded to a nylon interior membrane for additional strength and the wire coil is galvenised. Surface finish of the rubber is a bit smoother than original and has a slight shine to it, but this dulls off after it has been under the bonnet for a while and due to the inner liner is a little bit more stiff than the originals. The original length in the parts books are 45 inches for normal minis and 47 inches for the S. These are about 49 inches (give or take 1/2 an inch) so you have a bit more length to play with. Two part numbers may apply to this, either 24a1975 or 24a1256, and this is a replacement for both
