STEADY ROD ENGINE UPPER.5"LONGER.ALL 1275CC 1990 ON AND ADO1

This upper engine steady rod was fitted as standard to the Austin 1100/1300 range of 4 door cars and then fitted to the 1275CC minis from 1990 on, to position the engine half an inch (12.7mm) further forward to help clearance for the carbs and injection. The subframe was also changed moving the engine mount points slightly forward. Also fitted as standard to all automatics.
