THERMOSTAT BLANKING SLEEVE

If not using a thermostat in a race car, you need to fit a blanking sleeve to correct the coolant flow. This sleeve blanks off the bypass port, which would cause flow issues. Only use this sleeve if your head has a working bypass system ie hose/water pump and head outlet. Road cars should retain the thermostat to avoid overcooling and a longer warm up time.
