Description

Never, ever replace a camshaft without installing new followers. You might ask why when you cannot see any wear that they should be replaced.The follwer base is very complex. Contrary to popular belief the surface is not flat, it is actually convex. The dome shape of the bottom of the lifter is intended to keep the lifter rotating as it goes up and down. New lifters should be used any time a cam is replaced or reground. New lifters can even prolong the life of your favorite old cam. This is the standard follower and weighs about 44.00.grams.If you want the original type with oil hole see AEG584. also available is 2A13 EVO without oil hole but made by AE Hepolite the famous engine componenet manufacturer for the A sereies engine.
